Welcome to Our Practice

In October 1982, Elsie M. Joy, came to Tulsa to start a practice in Ocularistry after apprenticing with Iowa Eye Prosthetics, Inc. for 5 years and becoming certified by the National Examining Board of Ocularists (BCO). She also has a degree from the American Society of Ocularists (BADO).

In 1989, she moved her practice, and with her husband, Bruce Lytle, created the current practice: Eye Restoration Clinic. Since then they have been joined by family members Michelle S. Bullard and Edwin P. Bullard.

Michelle also has earned her Board Certification from the National Examining Board of Ocularists (BCO), and her degree from the American Society of Ocularists (BADO).

Edwin has his BADO and is waiting to sit for his BCO exam.

In 2008, Lisa Skowron, BCO, BADO, MAMS, joined our practice on a part-time basis to provide other prostheses for our patients, such as oculofacials, maxiofacials, ears, noses and digits.

We are all active members of the American Society of Ocularists Continuing Education Program and are active lecturers in professional organizations and medical groups.

At Eye Restoration Clinic, you will find a caring, sensitive and relaxed atmosphere where we take pride in making a quality, comfortable prosthesis designed to match the companion eye as perfectly as possible. Everyone gets our best effort.
